It always defaults to the last input you had it on. So if it was on SD card then it will be on SD when you start the car again. I just hooked up the handbrake line properly, IDK why people go out of their way to enable dangerous situations. But it is not required for operation. I had a SPH-DA120, but the touchscreen delaminated and made it look like garbage, so I bought a 5201NEX, but the internal SD card died within a week of using the navigation so I returned it. Now I have a W4400NEX but for some reason this one doesn't use the GPS' signal for a clock sync? Seems annoying that I have to set it manually, mostly because radios always desync from the actual time, and I figured having it use the GPS signal for time would keep it accurate.
