  1. Yea all you do is goto the phone register screen, and click and hold one of the 5 boxs for like 5 seconds and it will program that cell number into that slot. From then on, you can just use direct connect then hit that number and they will pair up.
  2. Not pulling the unit out at 10pm. Ill look into it tomorrow hopefully or sometime this week. Ill check out the phonebook thing as well.
  3. They obvioulsly were in a hurry if they couldnt take the time to screw in the ac control unit box behind the dash when they were finishing up...lazy bastards.
  4. Well Ill check out the connections, but Im hoping they werent that bad. Otherwise, I should have paid kryngle to install it lol.
  5. How in the world would a professional installer plug the wrong cables into the wrong slots in the blue tooth unit? Isnt there like only 1 spot that they would fit.....
  6. What all settings need to be turned up besides basic volume on the phone? And should that even affect my ability to hear incoming calls?

During that time, you will want your D3 to search for bluetooth devices and they will connect. Its the default passcode of 0000 that you will need to enter on your 8550 once they find each other, and then they will pair up. However, once they are paired up, neither my 8500 or 8700 will work when making phone calls which is what Im stuck at currently and have a thread opened u
  9. Assuming its all plugged in properly, is there anything with my phone I should be doing, or the unit itself?

Here is my situation: I have been able to pair my phone with my unit without much trouble. I have also already registered my phone with the AVIC-D3. That didnt take much time for me to figure out. However, now that everything is connected, when I make a call from my d3 to my house, and I hear the phone ring, and its answered, I cannot hear nor can my house phone hear me. I called Pioneer for help, and putting this politely, their custo
