  1. I had this same problem but it turned out to be the staging setting i was using. Good luck.
  2. Yes, it stays lit and accepts the first button perfectly.
  3. I do have the SWIPS unit connected correctly. I've followed the instructions on how to program it, but it will only accept the first button. I turn the key on and the light flashes 3 times for version 3. I push the button - light comes on. I push and hold the volume up button - light turns off. I release the vol button and light comes back on (1st button complete). Now when i push and hold the 2nd button (volume down) the light stays on and after about 5 seconds it flashes 3 times saying the programming is complete. I have tried this several times with the same result. Am I missing a step? T
  4. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but if you would have read you would have seen that the rebate center WILL NOT accept rebates from an online site. This has been confirmed by the rebate center to multiple people here.
  5. I've been in my boss's truck with a Kenwood nav system and while driving it will display where you are located without having to type in a destination. It will show you in real time turning onto streets, driving...etc. Does the D3 do this as well or do you have to type in a destination to see your 'status'? Thanks
  6. Just called back and talked to someone else and they said "No, no online rebates". I wish they would get their story straight. I knew it sounded too good to be true.
  7. I am thinking of picking up a D3. I called the rebate center and they told me Amazon.com is an authorized dealer and that they would honor the rebate if purchased through amazon. If this is true, you can get the D3 for $606 -200 rebate =$406!!
