nevermind, played with it some more and still didn't get any sound on the activation channel (184) but i called and activated it and the Sirius guy said sometimes you wont get audio with out a subscription on the preview channel, we activated it and it works just the same a my friends who has the D3 and sir-pnr2

Hello, i have just upgraded from the AVIC-D1 to the D3, i kept my old Sirius unit (the pnr1) but now i have no audio play back? i plugged it into the Blue plug on the back of the D3 and never messed with the Sirius unit. Do i need the Sir-Pnr2 unit to work on the d3? thanks in advance, mark
