Hey guys! I got and f900, purchased the ipod cable from pioneer, plugged the cable into the usb outlet that I ran to my glove box, switched the unit to "Ipod" and it still act's like I am using a apple cable. It reads my ipod, let's me search through the files etc, but I do not hear any sound. Any one else have this issue? Thanks in advance!

If anyone wants me to Burn them a copy of the DVD Dual layer that I know works in my D3, I would be willing to do: $7.00 $5.00 shipping and $10.00 for my time and the wear and tear on my new burner. I capped my upload speed while I am home since when uploading at full speed basically makes browsing impossible. I'm still uploading, but just not at full speed, when I leave today and when I sleep tonight I'll boost it back up.

I did not notice any changes except to the maps, and the fact that the screen when you start it up shows 2008 instead of 2007.

Ok, I went to burn this to a dvd and a regular 4.7 gig dvd is not large enough after it unzips and extracts the iso. I ended up having to go to Best Buy and buying a double layer DVD (about $17 for a pack of 3) so they are not cheap. I will post in here as soon as I do the update, it is burning right now, I have some work to finish up and then I will run out to the truck and do it.

That's a good point, but isn't this the disk that ships with another unit, so it wouldn't be just maps on it... Is there a way I can test to make sure it is an upgrade? I have never updated maps on my unit, do I just throw the DVD in the unit and it will do everything there?

Ok, it looks like it is done right now, the file is 2.52 gigs, and I am downloading at about 5 megs a second! Should take a little over an hour to download, from there I will start the torrent. I am doing this all through a logmein connection to my home computer while I am at work.

I agree, you people need to settle down! It is being uploaded to me right now, 2 gigs are done. As soon as I get it on my server I will download it and create a torrent.

Just woke up, the file is at 1.30 gigs, so a little less than half way done. I'm expecting a mid day completion. I will keep you guys updated.

it's actually not taking that long, if he leaves it overnight I don't see why it won't be finished in the morning... I see it coming my way!!!! Goodnight folks.
