Yeah, you're much better off with the pac/periphera piece.

YEp works perfectly.

not at the radio harness in the 150 anymore .
It's like the new super duty's yellow/blue at the abs module or the wiper motor. Wiper motor's easiest to get to.

now just gotta wait another year for the fcc to approve it....

Why not use a license plate frame camera? Easy to install and no disassembly.
Extremely easy to steal on a pickup. I replace at least one ever couple of weeks.

I know it's usually only the bad you hear about places like CC and BB, but i wonder if they're really that bad It seems for every one that says they had no problem, I read two that say they screwed something up. I'm just glad I have a little bit of experience with this stuff. I can't imagine having paid $200 to install my $900 worth of equipment, although when the SWC's don't work, I'd like to have had someone else to yell at besides myself.
Depends alot on the installer. I've met some extremely talented box installers, and some that I wouldn't trust working replacing a fuse. The same however is true with indy shops. It's all about the installer and whether they take pride in their work.

Don't need it. That's the harness that carries the factory sirius/aux plug/rear dvd. Just power up the camera with ignition power. It ain't gonna hurt the camera. Plus you will be able to check the camera while you're not in reverse.
Any other questions?

3d hybrid is it. It doesn't go into any other mode.

Welcome, couple tips for you.
1. No usable illumination wire at the radio, mean you'll have to run a tap to the brown wire at the light siwtch so the avic dims at night.
2. Cut out the plastic backet at the back of the radio opening. Helps the radio fit better.
3. Bypass is very easy to do, and there's plenty of info on it here.
4. Enjoy your stay.

Sucks, sorry to hear, but that's what insurance is for right?

Mirror will output whatever is on the front screen
A/v will output whatever's hooked up to the a/v input of the z
DVD will output the dvd video.
There might be something in the setup menu that has to be enabled, don't really remember for sure, though the owners manual should have that info.
-
Where to connect the wire for the illumination?
To the wire in the harness for it.
-
It lets you import an adress book from the old avic 80-90 series units. I beleive it was a kwi file that was generated. DOn't quote me though since it's been a LONG time since I've even seen an 80/90 series avic.

Factory sub or aftermarket?
-
Works great. Gives you all the navi outputs, and provides a rap lead as well.
-
Fits fine. As far as angle goes, really depends on how tall the driver is. The screen of the z series tilts though to accommodate.
-
Thats what I figured. I never get any traffic info in nav mode either, thats probly just cause I dont drive in big cities often
That will not show up unless you have xm navtraffic either.
-
ok a simple search will answer all of your questions.

Your antenna is damaged, and you're not getting any reception because of it. That nice little line at the top of it mean something has crushed part of the antenna.
-
Just read the instructions that come with all of the parts. It's apretty straight forward install. You might have to trim out he radio cavity a bit to fit everything.

Doesn't know would be my guess. Since it seems that any of the wiring databases I have access to list 06+ but nothing for the earlier years.
