it also might got something to with the firmware on the I-pod??

I've bought a I-pod classic(feb 2008) to go with my D3. But it won't charge. - in the menu on the D3 charge is set to ON. - I-pod shows the Pioneer logo when it's hooked on to the D3 - I-pod is charging when it's hookend on to the PC Everything else works fine with the i-pod interface (alle music options are there and work fine) But charging is the only thing which doesn't work anyone?
