Why if I'm parked and [b]playing the radio[/b], when I go to start the car the head unit restarts? Is there a way to fix this?

I'm not going to that shop anymore. How about I pay one of you guys to do it?? How far are you from the George Washington Bridge and are you willing to help fix the popping noise in my car and attach the speed sensor wire??? Let me know. I'll come to you!

The new stereo shop I'm going to is saying that I need a piece for my unit to work accordingly with the VSS. He said something that's made by SoundGate Audio (or something like that). He said that he "discovered the 2007 Mustang GT Coupe's speed sense function is done digitally through a can bus system which requires a rather pricy interface." Is this true???? If it is...is the speed sensor that important to hook up? Please help.

I believe you're right. I don't want to bring it back to the stereo shop though. They already messed up twice and I don't trust them. I'm wondering If I should just keep it the way it is.

2007 Ford Mustang GT Coupe...when I drive, the Speed Sensor number DOES NOT go up but the Vehicle Dynamics Speedometer does?????????? VERY STRANGE!! Any Ideas????

If you mean the screen that has the speedometer, with 2 other gauges etc... That works. When I drive I can see the speed increase. Does this mean the VSS in connected?

Sometimes these installers don't give a crap about the work they do so I just want to make sure It was done right. Can anyone tell me how I can tell if it's installed correctly. Would the navigation system still work if the wire wasn't connected to the speed sensor??

I brought my car to a shop yesterday to install the AVIC-D2 on my 2007 Mustang GT. Everything works accordingly EXCEPT everytime I turn the Car ON...[b]my speakers make a popping noise[/b]. Can someone please help me so that I can let these morons at the shop know. Thanks for your time!
