All, Just installed a DNX7100 in a Ford pickup. Used the Metra wire harness adapter (which had an orange wire for dimmer/illumination). Noticed that at night, with the truck headlights on, there is no illumination of the front panel buttons, unless the DNX7100 is on. Obviously makes it difficult to find the "on" button in the dark. The buttons light up once the unit is turned on. Is this by design, perhaps a defect, or something I did wrong in installation? Thanks.

Does a Kenwood/DNX7100 forum (like www.avic411.com) exist? Any suggested location for discussing this unit (hate to clutter up the forum here if there is not going to be a tremendous response). Thanks.
