The file you want is the one listed in the post above part no QXX3352 but I don’t think you will find anyone posting a copy on here I have been looking for it for about six months and nobody has posted it yet , If you find a copy please let me know thanks

it was one from here, by user called honda something had a guide with a link to the sd image
I’m pretty sure that’s a 4400 image because there isn’t a genuine 4500 image on here if there was though I think it would work perfectly with the Z9200DAB. I am also looking for the same as you.

Anyone got a 9200DAB image? 4500nex works but have lost DAB AM/FM radio!
Which 4500NEX image did you use?

Exactly what I did. @fry glad that it worked for you also.
Does anybody know if the AVH-W4500NEX and the AVH-Z9200DAB firmware are the same, according to a service manual I have seen the first few pages of they share the sane SD card part number.
Could someone with a genuine 4500NEX sysd.conf file check this out please.
kind regards

I put an image 1.0 on SD card for 4400NEX , but i needed the 1.02 .
Can the SD card be formatted or re-flashed ? is the SD card useless at this point and i need a new SD card ?
Any external tools/software to force formatting the SD card ?
Thanks for the help in advance

When I used it I used a cheap sd card I bought on Amazon. It worked for a while, a very short while. Then I ponied up and bought a 16gb, class 10 San Disc sd card. Used my Linux Mint to image it on there and have no issues since. I might have screwed it up in the Windows machine, it was my first attempt at doing this or it just might’ve been the cheap card.
Thank you so much sir
I have bought a good quality card and will try the Linux method described in one of your posts, that’s when I figure out how to add Linux to my machine.
thank you very much for your help.

I am new to this and what I really need is for someone to help me through the process preferably on a windows machine as I don’t have access to one with Linux.
Thanks again

Glad you got it working! It might be a good idea to warn people that there have been reports of issues when using these images, because they are based on the 4400 firmware (correct me if I'm wrong). IIRC some features don't always work, and if someone wants those features, they may decide they want to pay the $95 to get the official one. I didn't download these again to double-check them against the 4500 firmware image I made from the $95 official SD card I bought.
IF someone buys the official card, they too can make a backup file before they install it in their 4500. I went a slightly different route, and am very happy I did: I cloned the official SD card to one I had on hand, and used the clone instead of the official card in my 4500. Works great, and running firmware 1.05. So I have an image and an unlocked official card for whatever that's worth.
No, I won't upload my image file because I don't want any trouble with copyright
