  1. I ended up purchasing a CD-SR11 ... I did the eye mod like the guy had on the Amazon reviews link above and it works great, mounted at 2 o'clock on my steering wheel slightly angled toward the screen on the Avic d3 ... operates the radio well and can click into ipod functions and forward and reverse songs volume but thats about it on the ipod, also can be switched to Nav mode but didn't mess with that ... I just wanted it so I could run through my preset radio stations as well as non presets and volume and it works perfect for the basic radio functions.
  2. Does this remote work? perhaps someone has tried it wondering what it will do on the AVIC-D3? I realize this isnt exactly made for the D3 but just wondering if anyone has experimented with it at all ? ... also whats the difference between a CD-SR100 and a CD-SR1 or even a CD-SR11 I saw a good mod for these remotes that moves the infared eye so it works better as well because for some reason Pioneer mounted the eye's in the remote poorly. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/4 ... Can someone link me real quick to an easy way to upload or change the background? I had done the bypass that I got off her
  4. Ok so I put this thing in my truck and started it up, it turns on by itself and boots the nav DVD no problems ... screens look geat ... sounds great, very nice system. OK so am I missing something? I go to the AV menu and touch the place where it says "OFF" and ok it shuts off ... but the time of day stays on in the upper left corner which I dont mind all that much but I notice the screen has these ever so slight lines going across it, so the backlight is still on ... is there a button to just shut it down to a completely black screen no time or nothing on it ... are the ever so slight lin
