Thanks for responding. I have it set to Auto, but I think that the wires need to be setup to bring up the night time display. You would think there would be a Day, Automatic and Night setting. Do you happen to know if there is another way to get the night time view without connecting the wires? Thanks Larry

I just recently bought my Z2 and I love it - except for my bluetooth echo issue. The other thing I am having an issue with is that I never see the night time display for the maps. I always have the day time maps displayed even at 10:00 PM. In reading the manual it states that the night time display only appears when the car lights are turned on. I guess my installer forgot to hook up a wire or something. My question here is, do I need to have this wire hooked up or is there another way to get the night time view to work. If I do need to hook the wire up, which wire is it and where
