  1. So how did things go? Where you able to find the culprit? I am having the same problems with my N1. You're right in the fact that it is acting like a memory issue. I finally got it to come up, but it is really slow. Too slow to be efficient.
  2. I have and Avic N1 and a Avic D2. I am not having any issues with the D2. I do share the disks between the two of them. My wife has the N1. A while back, I gave her the disk (70MT) to run an errand and the navi screen froze up. She took the disk out and did it again and it gave the message "preparing to switch to memory navi mode" and below that it says it may take 30 seconds and not to remove the disc. The problem is that it freezes there I have to hold hte eject button down for a while to get it to actually eject the disc. The rest of the unit works fine such the DVD videos, radio, re
  3. Is there a way to get a drive from a D3 to work in a D2 to play the videos?
  4. Hello, I have a bypassed AVIC N1 in my wife's Tahoe and the memory navigation quit working. When we pulled the 70 West DVD out of my AVIC D2 in my truck put in the Tahoe, it would reboot and the Pioneer logo would come up and then it would say it was switching to memory mode and it may take up to 30 seconds. However, there is where is froze up everytime. The only way to remove would be to kill the power and hold eject on startup. Any ideas anyone?
  5. It is working. I just wanted to make sure that I wouldn't loose anything later on down the road when I needed. Thanks, Dustin.
  6. Hello I have a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD w/ factory XM and steering wheel controls. After installation of the Avic D2, the factory steering wheel controls no longer worked. Is there a modification that I need to make to get these to work again? Also, there was not a connection for my factory XM harness. Is there a conversion plug available for this as well? I also did not find an orange wire on my harness for the illumination wire. I was able to hook up the dimmer wire. Will this be a problem without the orange wire hooked up? Thanks, Dustin.
