is the part number for the avic d3 rca harness (the one with the yellow mute wire to do the bypass) CDP1063 or CDP1064? thanks in advance.

anybody? i don't think my "distance" learning bar is moving up anymore. It's stuck at midpoint ever since it dropped from being 3/4 full.

so my learning status (settings>hardware info>3d calibration), i remember that my distance bar was about 3/4 full, left and right turn bar are full, and the 3d bar has 1 more bar to go. well, this morning when i checked, my left, right, and 3d bar was fine, but for some odd reason, my distance bar was only half full???? anybody know why? thanks.

does anyone have problems with their ipod video playing video and either it doesn't play or it gets stuck in the middle of the video on the d3? i have the 5th gen ipod video, and for some reason, there be a video or 2 that just won't play or halfway through the video, it would freeze. it would only happen to those videos though when connected to the d3. so when i tried to play them on the ipod only, it works fine. i don't know if it's the cdi200 cable or not. any suggestions?

hey man, i have a 06 tc and it shouldn't be any different. installation is pretty easy. just color match and crimp all the wires together. there are some that are unused. vss wire is located on the harness behind the hvac and the reverse wire is located behind the glove box. go to scionlife.com and there is actually a guide that will help you. overall, installation is pretty easy. just make sure you have all the correct hardware like the brackets and the wiring harness. brackets on the oem radio will need to be modified in order for the door to fully close. as for the ipod, you

i bought it brand new. don't know why it happens. it's kinda pissing me off. cuz i will drive while it's trying to turn on, and once it does turn on, the navigation thinks that i haven't left yet so it starts to move from where i last parked, but in reality, i'm already 2 blocks down the road so it screws everything up and i either have to manually define where i am or reset it.

nope didn't work. i tried switching the eq settings to flat and others, which seems to work a little bit. but i guess it's the just the song itself. i'll have to redownload the file with different settings.

i read the sticky already and searched but couldn't find what i was looking for. i have the ipod 5th gen. and for certain songs, i hear a distortion that drives me nuts. i tried the backlight on and the ipod charge off but it's still there. ipod EQ settings to off and nothing works. i even tried to play around with the d3 sound settings. it doesn't increase with acceleration. it's just certain songs and it will only happen to THAT song only. so it's not a problem that's here and there. i don't know if it's the bitrate or quality of the song, but all my songs are 128+bitrate. any

i will. this weekend when i have time, i'm gonna tear it apart, make sure all the wires are crimp well, and i think i'm gonna move the gps antenna to the a-pillar. i don't think leaving it on top of the d3 unit itself is working. it might be too hot or something. i do get full reception though...

i thought about doing that, but i'm not about to zoom all the way out of california and try to find where i am. i think the thing that worked is if you turn the car off, reset it, and just let it sit there while it's off for awhile, then turn it back on.

so after my navigation treating me well for about a month... all of a sudden today, it went crazy. i was walking to my car after i got off work. i started the car up and the navigation decided to put my location in a river. i was like wtf... and i tried resetting it both ways like 10 times. well, resetting it worked, only thing is it showed that i was in los angeles when i'm not. i'm in portland, OR. well, after awhile, it showed me in portland, but my location was off about a block. so after more resetting, it finally showed me in the exact location i was in. what went wrong? and ho

hey guys, here and there, whenever i start up my car (doesn't matter if it's in the morning, mid day, or night,) sometimes the d3 doesn't start up. it would stay black. then i would have to turn the car off, wait a few seconds, and then turn the car back on and the unit would start up. or i could just wait for about a minute before it starts up. i can hear the fan and the unit running, but no picture. anybody know why? it doesn't happen often. i say 3/50 times i start up the car. thanks.

no problems so far. reception is fine. it really depends on the place. some areas i'll get crappy reception (which doesn't really affect anything for me) and there are some areas where i'll get full reception. all i did was just attached the gps antenna on top the d3 unit itself since i found that the easiest and most convienent way. i did not use the metal plate.
