  1. if that is the case, you would need the wired bypass that ducatiboy sells, or you can do the light thing everytime and it should work for a couple of hours that way from what i am told. or you can update the software, and do the two wire bypass.

You need to see if yo have the old version software or not, if your illumination works, when you fisrt start the vehicle falsh the lights three times while the head unit is starting up, and this would bypass it, if this does not work you probably have the new software and need to do a two wire bypass, which you can find the directions on this site by searching two wire bypass. good luck
  3. when i open the bluetooth update disc, it uses roxio automatically, but the one from Pioneer, i am downloading and just copying it to the disc.
  4. I tried to download the bluetooth and the update disc from Ducatiboy's site, and also pioneer and am not having any luck getting any of the discs to work. They either tell me unreadable disc, or it does nothing at all.
  5. I have a Avic Z1 that i bought as refurbished. I have done the two wire bypass, but the software show that it is the old version, so i tried downloading the updated disc from Pioneer, and nothing happens when i put it in the head unit, so i am downloading the bluetooth update off your website now, and will try that. Next, my illumination is not working. I have a 2007 Chevy silverado, and bought the 130 dollar wiring harness to keep all my onstar, and chimes, and everything works except the illumination. So i cannot try the flash the headlight trick. I called a radio shop around here, and
