I was just wondering if anybody has installed a Z1 or Z2 in a 1999 Subaru Legacy Outback SUS. I'm worried about buying one because the shifter is a bit close to where the existing system is, and I'd like to be sure that 1) it is possible to install one of these and 2) if it is too inconvenient to use it in the location (it's a little bit lower than would be preferable.) I think that Subaru legacies made from around 1995 to 1999 have the same basic dash layout, so anyone who has installed in any of those vehicle I think can offer some help. Thanks.
