I bought the unit from 6th ave. They are putting a call tag on it and sending me out a new unit. I dont know what happened after I activated Sirius. I guess with the antennas being so close, it did something to the navagation and mapping. Like I said, everything else works fine.

F$#K! My AVIC-Z1 maps wont work. everything else works. I moved the gps antenna away from the sirius antenna. I reset, I unplugged everything and reset again. nada.... Im gonna have to return the unit I guess. R

yup I did the resets for everything. didnt help. Went into the connections status screen. The GPS attenna says "NOK" not okay. also the following say NOK: speed pulse, installation position, power voltage, back signal. man... my Z-1 was working fine until I activated the sirius set up. I do have the GPS antenna next to my Sirius antenna. Should I move it? and what else? Take out the whole system and reinstall? R

Hey guys, Got the Z-1 installed in my 996 turbo with bluetooth and sirius radio. Had the system installed for 2 days before activating sirius. Once I did though, the map screen froze. I can use everything on the Z-1. What should I do? hit the reset button?

guys... I got my order delivered today. One week from date of order. No hiccups! Wow. 6th ave delivered as promised! The z-1 has a build date of August 2006. So I guess I will do ducatiboy's after jul06 bypass. Now I need to set up an appointment with a good installer. I'll keep you guys posted :D

just ordered the Z1, bluetooth, and sirius tuner from 6thave. With 3year warranty, the price was 1889.00 :o I know, I know, some of you had bad luck with 6th ave. And some of you have had good luck. Lets hope I get some good luck too. If not, I will have Mastercard dispute the charges. Hopefully I get all the items at once and within a week or I will raise hell! :evil: Now I have to find an installer here in Connecticut who can install the Z1 for me and integrate it with my stock Bose set up. Any reccomendations? :lol:

Hi guys, Id like to get the Z1 with the following components: 1.bluetooth adaptor 2. Sirius tuner I wanna keep the existing bose amp and speakers. What adaptors or harnesses do I need? also, I live in Connecticut. Does anyone know of any good audio shops or individuals who can install this for me? thanks!
