its not the cable cause i had a new one too. It is the port you know where you plug to charge your ipod? that port is the problem not the cable or the avic

they couldnt solve it so i got a refund and i just bought a used 60gb so hopefully this one will work. But reformating your ipod won't work it is the ipod charge port that cause the problem. So replace it or repair it.

the best would be to get a fifth gen or 5.5 gen ipod so pretty much the ipod before the ones that are release now.

well i just sent to ipod back so they can look at it and replace the part or just give me another ipod

well im in the process of sending this ipod back to get it fix from the ebay seller. Luckily it was a real business type ebayer so they should be able to fix it. If not then i still have the square trade warranty to fix it =] hopefully it'll get fix or i'll get a another ipod from them

it must be this ipod problem because my gf nano works perfect. It is just weird how it work fine with the headset but when it is the avic then it becomes a problem. The ipod cable is fine because i bought it brand new and the nano never had a lag issue. I just dont get it.

the problem is when i am trying to switch to the next song, it sometime take longer then usual to load the next song. I only have about 4gb of music so i know its not an issue of overloading the ipod. Also including the lag time there is also some point where it wont even load the song name or let me control the ipod. has anyone had these problems? i have a fifth gen 30gb ipod video btw.
