Well I did the bypass for the headlight flash and it works great.. thanks for the help.. Sucks that we have to buy extra stuff to make it work like it should have from the start, but at least it works now... this forum Rocks..

I had this installed and its great if installed right.... you get a notification to the remote with vibrate and beeping if your car is being broken in to.. I have tested it and it works about to a little over a quater of a mile.... My Truck is never that far from me.. I live in Houston, Tx and hell you can park at a restrurant and they will steal your stuff.... not anymore though..

Ok folks... my system is back to normal. The mic was in the wrong hole in the back and it was causing the buzz. Also noticed my sound quality improved too...

I think I know what it is now on my... I think they installer put the mic in the wrong slot.. I noticed this morning when I tried the BT for my phone the person on the other end could not here me and the buzz got worse... also noticed my voice menu button that allows you to do voice command in not showing up.... I will run it by there today and see and let you all know...

I have had the same problem ... but it was parked in a garage and it was not hot so I am not sure what causes it... I asked Pioneer and they said a short in a wire. The thing is I had it reinstalled in my new truck and it has not done it since so I am thinking the first install was not good.

I had my AVIC Z1 in my 04 Explorer and then about a week ago I put in a new F150 and now when I press any bottons on the Z1 you hear a buz for as long and you press the buttons. I am taking back in this weekend but wanted to know has anyone had this a fixed it and if so how? Thanks for any feed back...
