Is it just me or is this unit simply awfull!! I have the Ipod Adapter CD-IB100II hooked up to my D2 and I can't use any of the functions. All I can do is skip to the next track. Nothing else. It doesnt even display the song, only the artist. Am I using this wrong or is it just a bad unit to use with the D2?

ok.. it started to work today. All I did was clear everything from the previous owner. I just had it installed 2 days ago and *knocking on wood* hopefully it'll keep working. Can something like old preferences keep it from working properly?

even though it works sometimes? Is it possible that it could be because the dvd I'm using is not an original copy? Can that cause it to malfunction?

How do I recalibrate the screen on the D2. I have to touch outside the button to the right in order for it to work. thanx!

I tried that. Set destination and sometimes the other views shows up but then disappears. What could be the problem? Bypass wire not connecting??

so a detached cable can cause me to not use the guide and route view? The vehicle gauges view is clickable but theres a message that says its not usable across the screen.

I have read through the troubleshooting section on this forum and couldnt find an answer to my problem. The problem I have is that I cant use the route view or any other views except for the main map view. The gps doesnt help me find my directions at all since it doesnt direct me where to go. I had it working once but it disappeared after about 30 seconds. I had it professionally installed and bypassed. What can be the problem? I have a route established but still not getting anything. please help!!!!

New to this forum so please forgive the newbie questions. I just bought a preowned D2 and had it installed yesterday. Do I need the metal plate that goes underneath the gps antenna? I have it resting on top of my dash in between the windshield and the dashboard. Reason why I ask is cause the arrow that's suppose to be my car is never pointing straight. I tried the orientation button on the bottom right corner but all that does is move the map around. The arrow still moves every other way but straight. Does that metal plate have anything to do with my problem? Can I use any ordinary metal plate
