Hey - I have a 07 Exped too - Did everything work out for you? Did you do the bypass? I'm still haveing a problem with my recorded music on the HD only playing on the left side. Other than that everything is working fine.

Is apple ipod the only ipod you can use with the Z2?

I can see the icon on mine but I can not get the voice command to work. Its like it does not hear me or something. Is there some kind of trigger word or something?

Can you elaborate - what type of bad connection? Installation or with in the unit?

The last thing I want to do is have to send it back, and you are right - it may come to that. But I will try the level four reset first. Ok. Now.... whats a level four reset and how do I do it?

I did not mean to imply that the cd's themselves are recored. They are orginal cd's and when played in the z2, they play just fine. But when you record them onto the HD, while its recording you only here the music out of the left speakers and it does the same on playback. I'm stumped too!

I printed out your reply, went to my truck and tried it. Although it made sense, it did not work. Thanks for trying. Everything will play on all speakers except recorded cds - even during the record mode it only play's iout the left speaker - front and rear.

When should you reset a Z2 and why?

DVD Sound dut no picture - in park, em brake is on. I have not had the by pass done. I cannot get the picture to show but I get great sound - Install issue?

I just got my Z2 installed today and I have the same issue with the recorded music being played only out of the left speaker. The installer was like "wtf?" And could not fiure it out. I have not had any luck with any audio adjustments yet. I did notice that the nav voice is also only out of the let speaker. Can anyone help?
