does any know if the Pioneer CD-SB10 - Sirius Bus Interface Adapter work on a Avic-Z2?

What is the latest gracenote updated? I have the one dated in 3/2007. Is there a later one out?

Has any tried to see if the Sirius traffic work on the Z2 unit?

I GOT MY SIR-PNR2 HOOKED UP AND IT SHOWS UP ON MY SCREEN BUT IT DOESNT PLAY ANYTHING OR MAKE AND SOUND. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT I DID WRONG?

Does anyone know where I can get the installion manual for the SIR-PNR2...I dont konw where to plug the power cord up to. SO need some type of directions

I think thats where my problem is ...on my end(E-Brake). I see the light green wire which is stated as the e-brake. and I see that it is connect to another wire from my car....my problem is i dont know how to check if the e-brake is done correctly becuz i dont know what exactly to look for.

Which is in the back of the Z2 unit right?

My radio stations arent coming in clear. It worked fine when I first installed my unit, but then after I grounded the mute wire to do the bypass, the radio stations started not coming in correctly. Did A wire come lose that i might have over looked?

after i check to make sure the pin didnt come out should I reset the system before checking if its bypassed? Or just reinsert the pin and turn the car on?

Your right my system has been updated all along. I'm the stupid one...Now i have to figure out why my parking brake error came back. How do i know if i grounded the parking brake wire correctly? (07 Mustang)

DAMN! even with the link you gave me, it still doesnt work. I placed the CD in my unit and press Map and it just says CD-Inserted. I dont understand why this is so hard to figure out. My unit version is 2.0000 i'm trying to update it to the 2.0500 version. WHY ISNT THIS WORKING? AND AFTER I DID THE WIRE BYPASS the unit worked fine for about 4 days then the parking brake message came up all of sudden...So i really need this update CD because the ones that i'm making arent working.

Ok cool hopefully it doesnt matter that I'm using a mac. If so I'll try it on my PC. Do i have to do anything special when burning it to CD?

Can anyone send me the Z2 LOCK UP & FREEZING CD. I called the pioneer customer service and its a 3 week wait. And I tried Downloading the files from the website but it doesnt work. So can someone just send me the CD

I got the CD in the mail and it worked...But it was an OLD version so my unit wasnt able to update. Then recently after a week of my bypass working fine I just got that parking brake error again. DO you know why the parking brake message came back?

Yea I guess so...lol..hahah...but see I never was the one to do the bypass with the wiring. I had an installer do it...I he didnt do it completely right.

Yes your absolutely right...I just purchased the blue tooth adapter and I went back to my installer to have them do it, and realized they were going to charge me another $60 just to install it. So I figured I'll just do it myself, because I read a lot of threads and realizes people were doing everything themselves. And I noticed that the installer didnt do the bypass right. He didnt put he mute wire into the connector. So i made the correction myself based on the instructions you guys made and it works perfect so far. I'll keep you updated if anything changes. THANKS AGAIN!

Yea it still didnt work, so now I'm waiting for the CD in the mail. My bypass only works after I press the reset button but once I try to use the navigation system I get the parking brake error message. So I really need these files!

I cant create the file into a IMAGE file. Can someone just send me the file to save the headache. There as to be a easier way to bypass my Z2. This is just crazy. All the step by step processes I used dont work...The files I downloaded dont load on my Z2

I grounded my wires, and my Z2 unit bypass only works until I press the reset button by the eject button, but thats not the problem. The problem is once i input a address into the Navigation part the error message comes back up and the bypass no longer works. Can anyone tell me how I can fix this problem. And YES I DOWNLOADED ALL THE BYPASS FILES BUT ONCE I TRY TO INSTALL IT IN MY UNIT NOTHING HAPPENS. It just says CD-Rom loaded.

WHATS UP EVERYONE, I was just wondering can we watch TV on the Z2? I havent heard of anyone talking about it, so I was just wondering do we have that option to watch TV??

Ok thanks...I believe thats about it. The only thing I think I would need help in is when I want to upgrade the HDD so I would be able to add more music. Do you have any recommended ideas about upgrading the HDD?

Thanks GOT It....Sorry for sounding slow. I just wanted to make sure I do all the right steps. But another question. I've heard of people's Z1 & Z2 freezing up. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening to me?

Where can I get access to this CD or what is the link and the directions to installing this CD to my Z2? Also once I take it to a professional and have them install the Z2, I can imagine I would have to tell them to install the update before they can try to do the bypass correct?
