  1. I did my own bypass, could the mute wire kind of loose do anything?
  2. actually im looking at the manual.. the whole set of sound cut out so i have no idea. the wiring says each wire is associated with a speaker, if they all go out then what could it be?
  3. Ugh, pissed off. People I paid to do the wiring I think did a shitty job, as the sound just went out. GPS and such worked fine. When I pulled out the unit, it worked so I assumed it was loose wiring, but when I put it back no luck. I pulled out the harness adapter and just am going to look through it.. any particular wires i should look at? or could it actually be my unit? thanks
  4. you must have installed it wrong cuz it works for everyone else its one of the things that isnt wrong with the f-series lol
  5. Alright, thanks. Well he's gonna install it, and I'm assuming that he's going to draw the usb cable all the way to my glove compartment, so I'll just run the extra cable I already bought from there.
  6. I was about to get my unit installed with the ipod connector and the installer said I didn't need it because I could just use my USB - > Ipod connector that I normally use for the computer. Does that work? And will I get all the playback functions that I would have with the pioneer connector? Thanks in advance for the responses
  7. Hi guys. I managed to pick up a used car with the n3 installed (score!). The only problem is that for some reason whenever I turn in a direction, the unit seems to think I'm going in the opposite direction. I called pioneer support and they told me that I had to reset the 3d settings and such and let the gyro recalibrate, but even after a few hundred miles it was still doing the same thing. After searching this forum for a while I think that the problem arises from the gyro unit being installed backwards? Can someone give me feedback, I'm thinking of finding the unit and just mounting
