Thank you both for the installation tips. I plan to have the car worked on this Friday to correct this camera problem and a VSS wiring problem. I'm going to print this thread and bring it with me so the installer knows where to look to correct the issues.

I'm having a problem with the installation of my rear view camera, I'm not sure electrically what is happening, but operationally when the car is shifted into reverse the camera will come on and there will be warning text that says the picture may be reversed, then the image on the z1 will automatically switch to whichever image was on the screen prior to the car going in reverse.
