  1. Dude for real....you don't know what city you were born in???? Call your mama or better yet return my damn stereo! Sounds like a classic case of a thief trying to use some hot merchandise! Had my Z3 torn out last week but luckily 5-0 caught the bastards and I got my system back! Doesn't change the fact that the moron cut a bunch of wires and busted up my dash! All I gotta say is get a job, buy your own stereo and stop taking mine so I can enjoy some quality audio in peace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Depends on sub, amp and speaker size and what kind of sound you are looking for. My first thought is probably not, however, it will definately sound much cleaner after installing the Premier deck. It probably wont have much throat in the form of tight, powerful bass though. The thing is, it doesn't really matter because if you are getting the new deck, you need the metra adapter anyway, whether you use factory or aftermarket speakers. My advice would be to start with the HU/adapter and see how it sounds. If you are happy with it, go with it. If not, you can always upgrade speakers/
  3. That's good to know about the Cleansweep, though! I was considering using that in my 08 Trailblazer before I just decided to go all out and get a Z3. One of the deciding factors was that I hadn't really heard much about Cleansweep and I wasn't sure I could trust the units ability to process a stock signal. Now I know
  4. Kirkelli, the Cleansweep is meant to use the factory head unit and add aftermarket speakers, amps and subs. It doesn't really make sense if you are replacing the head unit. Hchavez is looking to do it the other way around by putting in the F90Bt with stock speakers. All he really needs is basically a factory wiring harness.
  5. For newer vehicles, you can use a factory integration adapter from metra or pac audio. They allow you to retain all functionality of your stock system including door chimes, hvac integration, onstar and factory sound systems. These adapters are nice because all the extra wires you need for navigation units are branched off of it (i.e. vss, parking brake, reverse wire for cameras, etc.) Makes for a relatively easy install as far as wiring is concerned because you can do all the splicing outside of your vehicle and then just plug it into your factory harness. The only down side is price
