That is exactly what mine is doing! Thank you so much I am going to try this right away. I was getting very discouraged that I might have to send this in for repair when I knew it could be something I could fix myself.

Hello all, I tried searching for this issue, but only seem to find it being a problem on the N-series and not the D. I recently picked up a D1 that has a blank screen. Everything works, touch screen still detects what you are selecting, sound works, cd player, nav, all of that. Just no picture at all on the screen. I managed to track down a ribbon cable and replace it hoping that may be the culprit, but still nothing. I pulled the screen apart and it seems no power is making its way to the bulb. Anyone have any thoughts as to what might be preventing this from working? Thanks
