  1. Still need help with this. Can anyone please help? Thanks.
  2. I have the same camera and just installed it last weekend. All I did was connect the black wire to the ground, the red wire to the remote turn on wire from the radio and the composite cable to the rear camera jack. I want to be able to select the rear camera even when I am not in reverse because I installed the camera in the car so I can see my 2 month old in her car seat. Works great. Hope that helps.
  3. Well, I think I need the VSS wire too. I know of the location under the hood but I would rather connect it in the car somewhere. Anybody know where that is too?
  4. Can anyone tell me where the reverse wire is in a 2003 Mazda Tribute? Thanks.
  5. I am still using the original DVD without a scratch on it.
  6. I just started to have this problem this week as well. I bought the unit at the end on May. After reinserting the dvd a good amount of times, it finally started to work again but it was temporary. I now get excessive vibration in the connection status screen. Speed pulse works on an off. Everything in the 3D calibration screen is showing asterix(*) and my GPS is having a hard time getting a signal. Oh yeah, I forgot to add the my unit will reboot on it's own and it will remove my backgrounds for the AV and Nav screens. I don't know what the problem might but it seems other people are ha
  7. I originally thought it was my amp but what causes me to believe that it is the D3 instead is the fact that I have to turn my car off in order to get it to work. In all my experience with amps, anytime they trip, they uses come back on once it cools down or once the load is lower than the limit. I think it's the radio because it's the only thing I can't turn off while the car is on. You can try to turn it off but it's never really turned off. Also, the gain on the amp is at half way and I only had the volume up around 23 on the D3 when this happens. It's no where near full blast. I will
  8. I have a bazooka amp and two subs in my trunk. Before I got the D3, I had the stock radio with a Line Output Convertor connected to my amp. I could blast radio for long periods of time and the amp would never overheat or cut off. Since I installed the D3, I no longer use the LOC and just use the outputs of the D3. It's happening more and more recently now, but I can't run at high volume for more than 10min or my subs will stop working. I don't think it's my amp because it wasn't that hot. If I ever overheated my amp, it would turn off to protect itself and would turn on again after it co
  9. I highly recommend his work as well. He installed my D3 back on Memorial Day in my 02 Mazda Protege. He knew exactly what he was doing and what to look for. He was very quick but careful and meticulous. He made sure everything lined up perfectly and tested everything before he left. I would definitely use him again for future jobs.
