  1. Yes, if anyone knows please post up. That's what is stopping me from working anything. I just can't stand that plain looking main menu. There are 3 background images in that folder so there has to be a way to use them.

Are you asking where are the 3 Main Icon files?

  2. lol you want them to illegally disable safety features and then if something goes wrong you want to blame them?

You sir win at life

I think he means if it's done incorrectly, not if he rear ends someone because he was watching a movie.

It is hard to find a shop that will do it. I do the bypass only if the customer asks for it and they agree we are not liable if they get pulled over or cause an accident. After all, just because I bypass it doesn't make it OK for him to be reckless. Also the boss wants me to charge like $40 to bypass it which is ridiculous, so I just quickly do it while wiring at the bench.

OP, it's simply moving a wire and grounding 2, you can easily do that in no more than 2 minutes before bringing it to the shop.

  3. Hey guys, quick question... I don't have my F90BT yet but I'm pretty hand with Photoshop so I was going to make my own splash screen (either Scion or Alabama themed) and I really like those little round pictures on some of these screens that have the iPod, HD Radio, Sirius, etc. in the, (different color circle logos with the writing underneath). I looked through most of these pages and didn't see so I was curious... anyone got those images that I can borrow in my own designs? Very Apple-like and I plan to use one of those Apple (maybe iPhone but probably just Apple) themes when I get my F90BT.

    Thanks!

You can crop out the buttons from a previous background and edit them as you like. That's what I did with my RX-8 one and it came out good. I also did the mirror image instead of the under glow

  4. MSN Direct said my coverage area was also very strong but the past 6 times I tried to get the forecast it said [ No Local Weather Data ].

Movie times is a joke, the closest theater on the MSN is like 20 miles away, when there's 3 theaters around here within 10 miles. Love the traffic info except that most of the information is in the Bronx/Queens area. Gas prices is hit or miss, sometimes it will have every station, sometimes the closet one is 18 miles away. IDK I think for a place that has great coverage the MSN Direct is performing this poorly, It's a waste of money.

  5. One day I hope to have a GTR or something that can do everything well.

The new GTR is sick. I hope Toyota decides to bring back the Supra to compete with it. With all the muscle cars being brought back, it'd be nice to see it redone.

  6. you know, with the economy as it is, you gotta stop and think about it and ask what would Jesus do?

Jesus would remove all the bugs with a single touch.

Bitman, have you tried eBay? You won't get as much but you're not going to get back what you paid for anyway, and it can be a nice start for the DNX.

  7. Sorry to hear you were disappointed with the F, but glad to hear you're getting the kenwood.

Come June, I will be considering selling the 90 for the 9140, or if Pioneer releases the next Z series, I will compare and decide between those 2, assuming the new Z has faster iPod controls and better bluetooth....but I don't count on it.

  8. IDK if this has been discussed yet but what about a relay and a diode?

    85 goes to a ground

86 goes to the vehicle's starter wire

30 goes to a consant 12v source, preferably the constant at the ignition cylinder because it doesn't cut out during start-up.

    87a will not be used

87 goes to the constant and ACC of the radio, of course after being diode isolated.

    -OR-

    85 groes to ground

86 goes to vehicle's accessory wire

    30 goes to ignition constant

87a goes to radio constant and ACC, of course after being diode isolated

    87 will not be used.

In theory, doing either of these methods should keep the radio powered up when starting the vehicle.
