I searched and didn't come up with a solid answer to my question. I have my VSS wire hooked up. I've been told I should hear a beep as I'm in motion; I'm getting no beep while driving. When I check the 3D Calibration and hardware information, it shows my speed pulse count increasing, but doesn't show how many miles I've driven. Is this possibly linked to my VSS wire at all? My VSS wire is hooked up correctly. My D3 has only been installed for about a week and a half. Does anyone know if this is a problem and if so, what could be causing this?

I wish I could help you out. I'm having the same problem with my Sierra. I've programmed for version number 1. I've followed the programming instructions just as they are and nothing. It's getting ridiculous. I'm about ready to trash it.

Actually, man...I just went back and rechecked my wiring. I didn't wire my mute switch AT ALL. Maybe this is my problem?

So...I just recently finished installing my Pioneer AVIC-D3. I also installed the Metra GMOS-04 (Bose and OnStar) harness and PESWIPS steering wheel control harness. I know (as far as I know) I soldered all the correct wires together. Now, the only time I get any audio through my speakers...is when my door is OPEN. When I close my doors and/or start my truck, all audio is muted. I get absolutely nothing at all. Does anyone here have any suggestions on how I should go about fixing this or what is causing this to happen?

Hey, guys. I just bought a D3 from a friend of mine and registered here to hopefully have a couple questions I have get answered. My friend needed to keep his GMOS-04, steering wheel control harness, and D3 power harness. I bought the unit itself from him. I just ordered a GMOS-04 harness and steering wheel control harness and am now looking for a D3 power harness. I've looked on eBay a couple times and there seem to be a few for sale.
