I know the avic-D3 plug and the z130bt I had was not the same. maybe you will get lucky
-
+1 on the Hertz 165XL's and the 10W3, but you need amplification to make it worth it on the Hertz
-
I did a quick search and from what I can tell, 32gb is the max

Thanks Op, worked with my 130

yeah, I have formatted the card several times. i'm sure its something stupid I am not doing right. the first time, the unit didn't recognize the card. since that I have gotten it to recognize the card, it just starts playing the wave files
-
yeah, i'm not having any luck either

ok, just wanted to keep this updated. I ended up finding the remote turn-on wire had gotten crimped and was causing the problem.

anyone ever had issues with the remote amp turn-on. no matter what amp I try to connect, the amps will not turn on

hey guys, I have a 2003 Cadillac cts that I am trying to add a 4 channel amp to. I already had a Kicker 12 inch and a 400 watt amp, all other speakers were running through a OS-2CTS in order to retain all the factory dings and crap(onstar which I never used). So I bypassed all of the factory stuff with new wires to the speakers, which are new speakers also. Component kickers in the front, which I mounted the tweeters in the factory pillars, and kicker 2 ways for the rear doors. I picked up a JL audio 4 channel amp from a guy and now I only get sound from the front left and the right rear. Is there a hard reset for the Z130?

any camera will do

yeah, I was afraid I would screw up the harness, so I just opted to do it this way also. it was worth the 10 bucks to me.

i was having a similar problem, but it had nothing to do with the disc. my problem was the factory harness adapter that was screwing up.
-
yeah, seems like there is a way to change that. check out the manual:http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/GPS-Navigation/AVIC-D3?tab=manuals
click on the owners manual and check out page 39 in the "compass" section.

i wouldnt worry about all of them on ebay. if its really cheap, pass on it. just do your home work on the seller and use their feedback.

i am not sure about generations, but I bought my son a new one last year and it works with no problem. his was 160gb classic, not sure about the nano's. sorry

i would think if your computer recognizes a dual layer dvd in your burner, then you should be good to go
-
check the very first thread in this section:

is this a unit you have used before in another car? did you use a wire harness? give us more info
-
good deal, glad it worked out for you. its amazing what will work for one guy, but wont for the next. i have had very good luck using ImgBurn and PowerISO, along with memorex DL dvd's.

shanelee, something is different with your settings. do you have a manual? if not, go here:
http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/GPS-Navigation/AVIC-D3?tab=manuals
and download the pdf file of the operating manual and go to page 124. i think it has to do with your "initial settings". the subwoofer setting is off or something to that effect. good luck, let me know if this helps
