  1. Can the DEQ-8000 processor be used with the Avic D3. I really want the D3 but hate the 2V preouts. I have some Zed audio amps to connect and want the full benefit of 4-5V. I would also appreciate the Time alignment too.
  2. I had it too with my Avic D2. I turned the gains down a little on the amp and for the most part it went away. That's the benefit of 5V preamp outs. The Avics have 2V. Try turning the gains down if you have an amp. A ground loop isolator should be used as a last resort after you check all the grounds and RCA cables.
  3. I have currently been listening to sirius on my D2. I just switched over to XM and purchased the Pioneer GEX-P920XM. My question is, can I just unplug the power cord and antenna of the Sirius PNR-1 and connect it to the Pioneers XM tuner, or am I going to have to used the XM supplied antenna and power cord?
  4. I used the DD metra kit to fit my D2 in my 2006 F250. Fits like a glove. Got the kit off of ebay with a harness adapter as well.
  5. What will the merger mean for sirius users with a sirius tuner connected to a d-2. Will I finally be able to get station names on the display. I was thinking of going XM just to have a screen that actually diplays the XM material, but now I don't know what to do?
  6. Can someone do anything with firefighter maltese cross/union emblem?
  7. I too would like to know this. I want 5V but don't care for the 5.1.
  8. I have been listening to sirius for a week with no problems. Yesterday, I took a short drive while listening to Sirius, then turned off my car. Five minutes went by, when I got back in my car and started it back up, my Avic was on off. I pressed the "source" button to only be able to toggle through CD and FM Radio. The Avic was not recognizing my Sirius. I got back home and shut the car off. I turned the car back on and It then recognized the Sirius tuner. Today, I got in the car to go to work and had no problems on the way there. When I got to work, I tried turning the car off, waiting
