Lately I couldn't zoom in the map because the button wouldn't work. I did some search and I found out that this guy has very similar issue. I have original d1 east cd. how much would you offer?

One of member from my350z told me to reboot my D1 because it's got an error message. I just want to know how to reboot this d1. I bought a cd from ebay and this thing ruined my d1. here is what he told me to do I dont remember exactly, but from avic411.com there is a procedure that you follow to enter the service menu. There are some commands to follow to reboot the software in from the nave disc. I had the same issue as you did when I bought an updated map disc from ebay. I fixed mine useing that info. My D1 is as good as new now.

I had my D1 Unit in my 350z for about two years now. I moved to California about 6 months ago and I bought a CD from ebay. I didn't know it was fake CD but it worked great. I traveled 3000 miles from CA to NJ two months ago and when I go to PA, my navigation told me to switch over the CD, so I did. It saids the CD is not working (don't know the proper error message). It's just BLANK screen with error message. I switched over to my west side CD and it doesn't work at all now.. my navigation pointer is on a sea water.. .. also I have problem when my car gets real hot.. it won't open.. Grrrrrrrrr
