ugh that stinks. how do i do a level 3 or 4 reset? and what are the implications?

hey all, im not a pro at using the z3, but i've burned several audio cds and ripped them onto the z3's hd. is there any way i can create a playlist of select songs in each cd? it seems to make each CD an album. also i usually burn audio cds for my wife also, is there anyway i can create a playlist for me and one for her? i hate listening to her crap lol. i'd like to create a "folder" for all hiphop or trance music and would like to add songs into each folder as i rip more songs. but it sounds like i can't do that. any1 know an easier way to manage compilation cds?

its an 08 4runner - urban runner model. from what i've found online, taking the unit out is a huge hassle and long process. i wish there was some software or non hardware way of doing this. the z1 has the light flickering hack/mod(i dont think it requires any hardware changes, but im not sure)

hey all, i had my avic z3 installed by the toyota dealership and they did not do the bypass mod so i have to enable my parking break if i want to use the navi. i am not very car savy. so... is there anyway for me to introduce the bypass on my avic-z3 without ripping everything out and grounding the correct wire? im scared to take apart my center console to get to the rear of the unit. please let me know. thank you all

yeah i never got any replies or an answer. i can't seem to find out how to mute the z3. i know there are options on "how" u want to mute but not how to actually perform the mute function. lol i know there is a mute lead but not sure how to invoke it. i read the manual a few times as well and i couldnt find it either

hey all, i was wondering how to mute the radio/music on the z3. im new to the z3 but when i read through the manual i didn't see a mute option anywhere. if im listening to the radio and want to mute, i just turn the volume all the way down. if im using the cd or library, i just stop or pause the audio. i see that there are mute and ATT options on the z3 like how much to mute or what sources to mute. how do i mute? lol

toyota installed the avic z3 in my 4runner urban runner and now come to find out the steering wheel controls dont work. they said the harness or whatever for the steering wheel and z3 doesn't exist, thus they were not able to connect them. they said they hope that the company will make a compatible harness in the future. boo has any1 ran into this problem?

hey all, i just bought a 2008 4runner urban runner which comes with the stupid lil tomtom removable gps. nonetheless i hate it, the screen is tiny and it looks ugly. the dealership offered an upgrade to the avic z3 with backup cam, which i purchased. they are ordering the parts today. 1. will the z3 fit in my 4runner? 2. will i have full functionality with ipod/mp3 players 3. will the mode, channel, and volume buttons on the steering wheel work? i just bought the 4runner a few days ago and i never knew about the upgraded nav option or anything about the pioneer z3. so im really in t
