Place the Mute wire in the slot directly above where you removed it from. 3. Using a wire tap (radio shack 10 for $5) connect the mute wire to the ground. 4. Using the wire tap (that is already attached to the parking break wire/green wire) attach it to the ground wire as well. 5. GROUND the BLACK WIRE....AKA GROUND DUH! ENJOY! Alright, the question that has been on here before. I searched the site for the bypass but am still unclear. I see people sell bypasses on ebay that takes 30 minutes to setup. But from what i see on here it looks like it would take 5 minutes? Could someone tell me specifically how to do this and is the ebay just a rip off? Thanks in advance

I guess i must be a moron! I just picked up the cd-1200 cord to play my iphone/ipod through the d3. I thought the cord just plugged into the front auxilary jack? When i picked up the cd-1200 cord it appears it has to be plugged into the back of the unit. Is that what I have to do with that cord? if so what is the best way to run the cord so it is not some ugly thing sticking out from your dash somewhere. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the pic, I am about to add an amp and sub, (previous thread) I cant see where those plug into the back of the unit, such as RCA cables and someone had mentioned there is a sub jack on the back? How is that used? Thanks

I have a 07 F150 with a D3 in it and would like to add a 12 sub and an amplifier. It has been a while since i Have done this. What is the best and easiest way to do this?
