Flipside

Hello all. Everytime i use the navigation on the d3 it keeps shutting off every 5 seconds, the screen goes black. Than i have to touch the screen again to turn it on, than every 5 seconds it goes off. Is there anything i can do to prevent this from shutting off and to keep the screen constant while navigating? Im quite new to this d3, so help a newbie out lol Thanks in advance
