  1. I had the EXACT same problem as somyoungguy with the AVICF700-BT series, black out screen and still hearing music etc. Fixed that by changing the brightness back to 10. Now after i parked and came back, and turned the car on it wont even work. The Splash screen comes up, but DOESNT say that the start-up is in progress. It just shows the picture there, then goes completely black after about 10 seconds, and obviously doesnt work. The bluetooth light blinks briefly one time at the very start but doesn't connect to my phone, so obviously the unit isn't on. Its not a power connectivity iss
  2. hey, i had the same problem happen to me today. Everything was working fine then when i started my car after lunch i had the same problem as you. What it was, is that the brightness for the unit got set to 0, instead of 8 or 10 or whatever you previously had it at. I was driving for a bit and then i could barely see the screen, i just stopped at a red light pulled the Ebreak and changed the brightness, fixed the issue. Duno if you'll be lucky enough to see it in daylight? try at night. But yea, brightness got set to ZERO. weird.
