Geissen, i noticed that in the second part of the coding, there's a ; at the beginnning. in my data.zip, there's no semicolon. i tried doing this with the semicolon, and it gave me an error message at startup. i tried it also without the semicolon, and the boxes weren't removed.

are you doing something i'm not?

so i finally decided to activate my MSN direct... and i cannot seem to get back to the screen where the product key is...

the first time i booted my unit i had access to it, but not anymore... it just says "connecting to MSN direct"

... anyone know where i can find this?

so what happens when new firmware comes out? won't all this go to waste? or will you just have to have a spare copy of the data.zip so you can move it back over again?

how come the f900 maps during daytime can sometimes be white, then green, or both? does this signify anything? can it be changed to all white?

hifisi, why dont you turn your gains down a bit? it'll get almost as loud, but wont sound distorted.... the lower your gains, the better your sound... you should seriously try one of those kicker EQs... my gains are literally all the way down and it gets loud as hell.

I have quite a few questions, that probably have been answered at some point. however, from using search and just scanning the forums, i havent quite been able to find some answers... i know i may have already started topics on some of these, but id like to have it all in one spot. ANY help is greatly appreciated.

5. i think i have an idea... is there any way to change the boot order? like can it be modded/hacked to have say, the ipod start first, then nav, then AM/FM? kinda like a computer? like, instead of having the HDD boot first, you can have the DVD drive boot first... or am i the first to think of this?

again, i may seem really repetitive, but i tried to demo my unit for a co-worker today and i made myself look like a fool with the ipod not connecting right and the ridiculous boot up time...

so i was listening to my ipod, and recently has been playing fine then saying "ipod connection failed. please reconnect"

yeah i know, and id definitely be willing to do all this stuff myself, but i dont think i can get the testmode deal since i got a unit with the new firmware... or am i mistaken? i've been reading posts all day and im horribly confused.

also, is it possible to get rid of the "system startup" box???? is stephanie can give me all of the above, i'd be the happiest dude ever.

Is it possible for anyone, namely stephanie, to upload their entire file system, without the nav boxes or key beeps, to a .zip which i can then unzip, put onto an SD, and put on my 900? im nervous to do it myself...

alright, this is the deal.

technically, our POS system will allow you to return anything, for the amount that you bought it for. For them to do that return, however, you have struck gold. No manager, supervisor, or what-have-you should ever authorize a D2 return, especially since now they'll have to sell it, for way less than 1400 dollars. Did you have circuit city advantage? that would be the ONLY circumstance which would warrant a return that big.

next, your special order, if it is indeed coming to the store, will most likely NOT have it shipped within 2 weeks. You see, Pioneer ships them to a main warehouse (per district) and those warehouses, once stock is adequate, will ship it to the store. currently, our warehouse has 0.
