Great upgrade! Process went through without any errors at all. I backed up my battery with a battery changer instead of leaving my car running for an hour. I accessed Pioneers website to get my unlock code through my iphone. So far everything looks great with excellent response. MSN Direct works so much better signal is SO MUCH STRONGER!!! At home where I would barely get any bars at all now bars are FULL and receive the updates instantly. There is a lot more that can be improved but compared to 2.0 firmware this is HUGE. Cheers !

I know, the volume control pisses me off too. I have this problem in CD mode only, though? I can barely hear what the damn thing is saying when I am drivin and have the volume on ~40. Do you have this problem only in CD mode or with the other sources also ?

I told you I did that. But then when I switch to a different AV source the navi sound is super loud, my speakers will explode.

How do I adjust my navi volume in DISC mode only? Any other AV source is fine but CD. If I adjust the master volume manually it will be fine but then if I go to any other AV source the thing would blow my speakers. I factory reset the stupid F....no dice!

Same problem here. I had the problem with my Nokia N73 and now with my brand new just released Nokia E71. I don't think is a phone problem. It is just another stupid "F"in issue. I think "F" stands for F***ED UP!

The WD Passports rely on the short USB cable to draw enough power for the hard drive. If you try to connect it to your PC with a longer USB cable you will find out that it won't work due to increased resistance in the cable and not enough power for the drive to spin up, it only clicks. In our case with the F series the unit alredy comes with a pretty long usb cable wich limits the power down. If you hook up an external power for your drive and then hook it up to the AVIC it should work. I have not tried it yet because I just installed my unit and have not played enough with it, but I am pretty
