  1. Vorian's post in another thread is what got me thinking along these lines: he said: I had "static-y" noises on my unit too but then I realized I needed to use something to lower the output from the radio before going to my truck's factory amp. I used a PAC OEM-2 to fix that problem. Before putting that in when I had the radio on and NOTHING was plating I would hear a slight hissing sound coming from the speakers. When the radio was on, volume level 10-15 was LOUD. In the Sound Settings for the navigation, I had master and voice set to just one level above the lowest possible setting
  2. Just a standard harness. The g6's dic info is in the radio, so we have to buy a metra adapter, which has the dic screen in it. I'd intended to put that metra bit in my glove box but i said frig it after a couple of months and being lazy. So i used the harness from the metra kit and just didn't use the wires going to the metra. It isn't a special gmlan harness or anything. Which is why i'm thinking I need the pac oem-2 line output convertor on my speaker wires. :/ Thanks
  3. Had avicd3, been lurking here since I got it. Got f700bt Pontiac G6 w/ Monsoon I'm asking this and yes i've searched but I cannot find an answer that applies to me and I'm unsure about what I think is the answer. Essentially, I'm getting white noise, hissing, whatever, at all times. I get it when the volume is off completely and it's coming over all speakers. I get it even when the music is up and I touch the screen or the nav speaks. I've read about the line output isolators. The Monsoon amp in this car has all the speaker wires from the factory harness running into it then
