I installed my AVIC D1 (With the Help of Avic411.com Forum) About 7 months ago and everything was super perfect until two days ago, while playing a super low bass song my sub started fading out and it has not been working ever since. I know you have probebly fixed the problem by now but this is for the people who are searching the forums looking for answers. My D1 started doing the same thing today. I could hear the beep when I pressed the Open button but nothing would happen, but later on tonight when I went back, it was working like nothing had happened. My strong guess is HEAT. It was around 65ish this morning and by noon it was 68. If this happens to you, enjoy the CD that you have in there and just wait for your unit to cool down. Hope this helps.
