  1. Never say Never. The Apple dominance will end one day. Hopefully Android will get there stuff together and be the dominate mobile phone OS.
  2. The good thing is…I just ate lunch and feel great! But for real the good is that you can call your insurance company, and have them pay you for a new z110bt along with an aftermarket alarm system.
  3. Way to go Dbnichols! I cannot wait to get my unit!
  4. I hear that the Kenwood 9140 is just as buggy. I have used Eclipse in the past and it was a solid unit. My grip was that you had to buy all kind of add-ons Ipod, bt, ect. But I think they have resolved that with their new units.
  5. There is another seller on ebay that is claiming to have a bypass for the z110bt. Has anyone checked this out yet? http://cgi.ebay.com/Pioneer-avic-Z110bt ... .m20.l1116
  6. Updated maps and firmware. PM garrettoomey He has upgraded hard drives that will turn your Z2 into a Z3 for a fair price.
  7. I bought a brand new on on ebay this week for $585.
  8. I had an old Eclipse unit in 06, my first navi. It was solid and sounded great, no glitches or lag. But unfortunately it got outdated fast as it did not have blue tooth, and it operated on a navi DVD, no TTS. I haven’t heard any noise from there new unit the AVN726E so hopefully they have gotten there act together it looks like sweet got all the bells and whistles one would want in a navi. But beware I heard a rumor that they may be going under.
  9. Ok Mr 1337 .ini Hacker. Sell the unit and move on. We get it. I am putting it up on ebay as I type. Don't worry you wont have to read any more about all the flaws in your precious AVIC from me any more. At least not from me. For how much???
  10. tacomaboy If you in the market to maybe spend 1400 why not go for Z-110bt? The specs on the unit are great IMO. The only thing preventing me from pulling the trigger right now is the price tag! Overall census it seems like the F90bt is the pound for pound best buy right now for about 700 with 3.0 updated.
  11. Tacomaboy if not the X or F then what? I am seeing new Fs going for 650-700 online. I cannot see myself paying full price for a new Z $1400!! I would get a brand new freakin 42in plazma on the wall. haha Too bad we cannot upgrade the old z1-3 software to the 110bt.
  12. Dammit drod!! you beat me to a similar question. LOL If you don’t mind I will piggy back of you your question. General consensus of the F90bt. Hey All, I’m trying to make up my mind if I should fork over money to Pioneer for a new F90bt. I have been reading stories where people have purchased these units and had to send them in to Pioneer to fix them. Now I’m looking at one the has the 2.0 update will I be safe buying this unit? I also saw some for sale that didn’t exactly say they had the new update already installed. Would I stay away from this one? The bottom li
  13. Same thing happened to mine. Sounds like you may not have the VSS wire hooked up properly. A simple reset like you did, should fix the problem temporally. A permanent fix would be to have that wire connected properly
  14. I have been debating the same issue, but to me it has to be more than just screen size. To me an extra 1.2 inches do not justify paying $500+ more dollars for a new Z series. Especially if the 3.0 upgrade can give you what you want in a new X. With the F, you also get the built in MSN, not that I would be using it but nice to have if I wanted to. My thing is I don’t want to dive into and F series and it’s still buggy with the 3.0 upgrade. So the question is what kind of REAL advantages can we get from a new Z that justifies paying a $500+ premium???
