ok, how do I get the unit out? I took off the faceplate by prying it off w/ a screw driver and there was a black goopy stuff that they put on during the install. what do I do beyond that?

i have an audi a4 and i got an f700bt professionally installed. since they installed it I hear white noise coming from my speakers constantly. Is there a way I can fix this or should i bring it back to them. I really dont want to go back to this place because I didnt have a good experience and I dont want to pay another place to do it. Second question: Is the hack to make it work without the parking break easy to do? could I do it in like 20 minutes with no experience what so ever?

is it possible to use a usb splitter hub on the f700bt so I can use my ipod and charge my phone on it and use a thumb drive? also, does anyone have an experience using a ps2 slim on the unit? how good is the screen for the ps2, mostly gran turismo 4? I'm getting the unit installed in a few days.
