  1. Hey Guys, I had an electrical short in my car (looong story, affected a couple things). Basically, the symptoms were the battery being installed backwards (not sure if it was... looong story ) Now my Avic F90BT wont turn on: - No lights come on it - No attempt to boot - 7.5A "Radio" Fuse in car's fuse block is fine - 1A Fuse inline with the Avic is fine I get a whine through the speakers normally, and this is still there. Other than that, it does nothing. Ideas? Thanks in advance -John
  2. OOPS... please delete... I will repost this in the "F-Series" Section.

  4. Yeah, its for car shows, usually indoors. I am thinking: http://cgi.ebay.com/CCTV-Composite-Vide ... 286.c0.m14 I wonder if the resolution will be ok. I am not looking for high def, its only a composite cable. -John
  5. Avic F90BT... arent they all the same?
  6. Hey Guys, I am having a problem. I have a monitor that I want to use at car shows etc for movies. The monitor ONLY has a VGA input, and the AVIC only has a Yellow Composite. Does anyone know if I can get these two to work easy? Most shops around me are saying no. The other problem is that the screen is a widescreen..... will that pose an issue? Thanks John
  7. Hey Guys, I have had this ever since I wired up the system, and have started trouble shooting, and its driving me nuts! When The unit powers on (even with engine off), I get a loud pitch whine through all speakers. Here are some general setup details, and troubleshooting done: 1. System - Pioneer Avic F90BT. PG RSD 500.4 Amp. PG RSDc 6.5" Comp set. Redtop Batt. 2. 0ga wiring for + and - all the way to the back. 14ga for speakers, and DBLink/Monster RCAs (most is for more gear) 3. When RCA is unplugged from amp, noise gone 4. When RCA is unplugged from deck only, noise gone
