ok this may be a really dumb question... or not... while on map screen.... and listening to radio (FM) does the KNOB (right and left) only change frequencies and not between your presets? (up and down / zoom in and out) this is very annoying when all i want to do is quickly change my radio station and keep it on the map screen.... do our units not do something so simple.. or am i just simple minded... thanks for all the help.

hey guys i did this exact step by step... got all the mods to work..(CANCEL ROUTE from COMPASS button was all the worth it). seems like i uploaded the 3d building files etc but when i go to my map and just start browsing around for some 3d buildings i see none? any suggestions? im checking like downtown los angeles area... will i only see it driving? do i need to turn them on? i am in 3d mode and just browsing the landscape.. sorry for being a noob... thanks for all the help in advance. search did nothing for me... if u can link me then thanks..

same ive had mine sitting here since before xmas.... got mine for a great price just over $325... cant wait to get mine put in and start really playing with it....

right im aware of the bypass which i see there are tons of threads about it.... so i would just play the normal dvd and just switch it back to navigation and the rear monitor will still be playing a dvd? how do i swtich the rear monitor to show the navigation or sync with what im seeing in the front?

thats exactly what i want.. as long as its like NAV/DVD or NAV/IPOD ill be fine.... i dont want two entirely different AV sources to go on at once..... is that just a standard feature also? or do i need to hack to get that to happen? thanks again

Hey guys long time lurker... just had a questions i tried search function with no luck.. just wanted to know if this is possible or not. i have a suv with a rear overhead monitor.... is it possible for the AVIC F-90/900 series to display a different image than what the driver sees? so play dvd in the rear while driver sees NAVIGATION? or will my rear monitor always show what is shown on the headunit? is there a hack where this is possible if not already? or will i have to stick to a dual output unit like Z3 or N5? sorry if such noob question or already been answered
