  1. A month after installing the Avic F-900 in my Lexus GS300, the car started failing; "poor throttle response" was the "symptom" according to the repair shop. They ended up repairing the throttle body, by replacing the throttle motor and the throttle pedal position sensor. In doing so, they found the unit's (the Avic's, that is) wire that was connected to the speed sensor, and disconnected it, saying that it "might" have had something to do with the problem. Has anybody had this problem? The repair shop told me they would re-connect the wire to the speed sensor if I wanted them to, but
  2. I just got the Avic-F900BT installed in my car and I wonder if it is possible to have the product calculate alternate routes before even starting to travel. I have tried to find the feature, read the manual and several forums, but seem not to find it. I own one of the first on-dash TomTom navigators and I use that feature quite often when trying to avoid certain roads that I don't like driving, etc. I am aware that if I get off course, the Avic will automatically calculate the best alternate route, but what I'm looking for is the possibility of choosing the route I want, or the possibili
