  1. that's cool. i just don't have the time or know how to get this done. if someone can help me with a west disk please pm. thanks.
  2. thanks for the info, ryan. maybe i'll check another source for a copy. did you get yours from a source on this bb? i was able to get a refund on the copy that was sent to me, so i'm at square one again. thanks.
  3. UPDATE: i'm pretty sure it's a bad burn that i bought. i downgraded back to my 2006 version. guess i'll buy through pioneer next time.
  4. my D-1 just got the 2008 update dvd, bought on ebay. popped it in ... update bar at bottom loaded fine. completed. checked the xm logos and most all of them are now new. cool. but no maps. i just get my "home" icon and red arrow, and the background is just blue. tried to select an address from my address book, and grey box said that i couldn't set a destination ....blah blah" also no voice commands. bad burn? history: D-1; bought a copy of 2006 maps two years ago; fine. now updating to 2008. thanks for any help.

(power windows is another) trouble is, when i open the door, it doesn't power off. i'll ask ford about this.
