  1. I have the new body style Silverado and crutchfield says it wont fit either. all you have to do is pull the stock radio out and cut the plastic out that is behind the radio. it sounds bad, but it's not. you will have more room for all of the wires back there too afterwards. good luck.
  2. I second this. I also have the LG Shine and it used to work great. Now, I can't get it to connect but once in a blue moon. Sometimes it will connect everytime I get in the car and other times I can't get it to connect at all. Sometimes when it's connected and working it will just disconnect at random. I cant figure out if it's the phone or the radio. I hope it's the phone. I am looking at getting a new phone soon. Hopefully one that will work.
  3. I have the PAC Audio SWIPS in my Silverado and mine works great. It took a while to figure the programming out. I don't know about the constant 12V. I would think that might have something to do with your issues.
  4. I don't know why there are all of these complaints about these headunits. I have had mine about a month and I love this thing (F90BT). So what it takes a whole minute or so to start up. Is is really that bad? I don't think so.
  5. I agree with Agent Jones. The bluetooth on mine works great. It's pretty sensitive. I have to close my windows to use it, but other than that it works great.
  6. I got everything installed last week. (subs and steering controls) Everything works awesome. The steering controller was pretty easy to install. I had to read the directions about 10X to make sure that I understood it. Once I understood it, it was easy to program it. I have used the bluetooth a few times and it works great too. I put the mic on my A pillar. It's a little higher than eye level. It is VERY sensitive. I tired to talk with the window down and that was a no go. My wife said it sounded like i was in a wind tunnel. I rolled the window up and she said it sounded great. The b
  7. Why would you pull the HU out? Just leave it alone and enjoy it the way it is.
  8. Thanks. I love it. One day I will get a new one. I got it the day after I put the radio in. I will be finishing the install this week. (amps, subs and steering controls) I got the PAC Audio SWI-PS unit. It looks like a nice piece. Just a bit confusing to install as far as programming the buttons.
  9. Thanks. It sucks that I have to take it apart to hook up the steering controls and the amps. It will be worth it in the end though.
  10. So i got my new F90 the other day and i took a day off of work to "finish" the install. I am going to hook up some subs and 2 amps soon so i am not finished yet. I also am waiting on my steering wheel controls to come in the mail. (slow ass usps...) I bought the Sirius tuner and hooked that up last night. That was pretty easy to hook up. I really like this headunit. I did the bypass. It was ridiculously easy to do thanks to this website. The VSS hookup was super simple aslo. I tried to mount the GPS antenna underneath the dash mounted to the top of the radio but i couldnt get any sign
  11. I've got one coming next week. Get yours installed so I can see what it looks like
