  1. I read some place that the changer will need a little bit of back panel mod to accept IP Bus cable? Thanks for looking into this. Not sure about the Polish meaning of my handle, but I guess I have to check with my Polish friends.
  2. I finally had my D2 installed on my 2000 Lexus GS400. My OEM sound system is a Pioneer but with the installation of navigation, my CD changer became useless. Last night, I found out from one of the Lexus forums that it is possible to make the OEM CD changer to work with D2 using IP BUS. Can our gurus in the forum help me on this? Thanks!
  3. Thanks for the replies. I already have the instructions on how to take the dash apart. My other issues will be any if there is/are additional harness needed, connectors, etc. plus interconnects. I will really have to take my time and keep searching before tackling this project. Thanks again!
  4. Just purchased a D2 for my 2000 Lexus GS400 but when I asked for installation estimate, the shop quoted me $550.00. I said that's ridiculous and never bothered to bargain. I will figure out if I can do this by myself. Anybody done this on the same car? Hopefully, I can get a step by step instructions too. Thanks in advance.
  5. Just got mine today also. Purchased it through ebay and like everybody else's, there are no plastic wrapping on the unit. It's neatly packed, all cables on plastic bag and looks brand new. I will have it installed this coming Friday.
