I'm in AZ...and I've done the bypass myself. Wasn't sure at the time, but I obviously did it right if it's still working. Where you located? Only problem is that I'm in "nowhereland" of AZ, Bullhead City. Right next to Laughlin, NV and Needles, CA.

awesome thanks for the info... also, I just checked my navi disc and its v1.0 .... is there a need for the 1.2 disc? is it that much of a diff/improvement?

Well I just finished up installing my D1 and now I think the VSS and Reverse Gear wires aren't correct. On the vehicle diagnostic screen, the middle guage that reads the speed says "Function not available..." And when I go from Drive to Reverse, I don't see any change at all. Should the arrow be fliping backwards or something? Thanks.

Hey guys...kinda wierd question but I wired up my D1 harness to my vehicle harness....and I tested it out on one of them emergency jump start boxes. Well the unit turned on and everything is fine, but I'm wondering if I managed to get the bypass correct or not....I loaded the navigation CD and the streets came up with the arrow and all....does that mean everything worked and the bypass is a go? The way I bypassed is by putting the A.ANT lead in the extra slot, then I attached all the ground wires + A.ANT + Parking Brake all to the same ground (on the vehicle harness)....sound right?

On the side note...Just ordered a cage from pioneer for a whopping $30 shipped.....anyone know where I can get a trim piece?

Hmm...so it won't really "dry" if I just put it on the ends of the break....only until I put the two ends together? Interesting stuff...

Yeah that is the only thing I was worried about....hmmm white haze doesn't sound good to me. Where can I get some of that MEK or Acetone? Would CA glue work as well? Also...if I do glue it, should I put the button in place first, then glue the piece together? I don't know if I'll be able to snap the button in AFTER I glue the corner...

Plastic cracked...traded someone online....cracked during shipping. Looks like superglue will do it...what do you think? Also...if anyone has any idea...where can I tap into the Car Speed Signal Input and Reverse Gear Input? Also, where do I find the parking brake wires to ground it (to bypass the motion lock)?
