I have been an installer for 20 years and every car navigation with the exception of newer ones that use the gyro has a tagged VSS wire in the harness. year make and model has nothing to do with my question, I know the 900 manual says its there but my harness does not have it so thats why i am asking. if you don't know anything about electronics and you clearly do not, Don't answer questions that are related...

where do i go to get to the data file to change the speed?

Can I use a usb to do the update or does it have to be on SD card?

I just bought the F900BT and there is no pink wire on the harness and no VSS wire labeled. does this unit not need one or do i have the wrong harness? the nav picks up ok because of the gyro but i want to know if i need to hook the pink up. any info would help. Thanks.
